The tile is unique and hand-painted, so no two pieces are exactly the same. Set in a natural Portuguese cork frame. Signed by the artist.

Artist Oleksandra Nikolaienko is a Fine Arts student in Porto, working at the intersection of tradition and personal artistic expression.
Each tile is hand-painted with cobalt — a pigment deeply rooted in the Portuguese azulejo tradition. The image is applied directly to the surface, preserving the individuality of every line.
The piece is then fired in a kiln at temperatures above 1000°C, permanently bonding the pigment into the ceramic.

Can the tile be used as a hot plate trivet?
Yes, the tile was fired at a temperature of 1020°C, and natural Portuguese cork is an excellent thermal insulator. It is ideal for protecting the table from hot dishes.
How to care for the tile, and is it dishwasher safe?
We recommend wiping the surface with a damp cloth. The product should not be completely submerged in water or washed in a dishwasher, as this may damage the cork base.
How reliable is the packaging for international delivery?
We use special multi-layer packaging with shock protection to guarantee the safety of the tile during shipping to any part of the world.
Is each tile truly hand-painted?
Yes, each tile is an original work by Alexandra Nikolaienko. Since it is hand-painted with cobalt, variations in shades and lines make your piece one of a kind.
Does the tile have a wall-mounting attachment?
This tile is set in a cork frame and is primarily intended for tabletop use. However, its light weight and flat back surface allow it to be easily fixed to a wall using double-sided decor tape or special mounts.
