Blue Crab Keychain

This crab-shaped keychain is handmade using macramé technique with strong, durable cord and an original self-developed pattern. The figure is realistic and articulated – all legs and claws are movable, which makes the crab especially lively and playful.

The body of the crab is made from a natural seashell collected on the Atlantic coast near Capela do Senhor da Pedra – a place of extraordinary beauty where the ocean meets a small stone chapel by the shore. These shells are naturally shaped by the Atlantic itself: countless waves polish them over time, creating unique textures and organic patterns. I simply collect them and transform them into small souvenirs, preserving their natural character and design.

Each crab carries the atmosphere of the Atlantic – the sound of waves, salty air, and the cries of seagulls.
